Stephen Thomforde is an accomplished performer on Highland Bagpipes, Smallpipes, Border Pipes, and Parlour Pipes.

He has competed with Catamount Pipe Band at the Bagpipe Band World Championships in 2015 and 2018, performed alongside Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, and frequently performs for Scottish dance events.
